A FEW WORDS

My name is Xavier, my alias is mv (previously melvyl). I work as a music composer & sound designer, mainly for video games. I've done a few titles on PC, GameBoy Advance & Nintendo DS and cell phones. I've also worked a bit on animation and trailers. I'm now very interested in working in more fields, including documentary, TV & cinema, and am confident in my ability to do so.

I was the founder & a musician of the hellven mp3 electronic group (1998-2007). I'm also known for having done quite a few releases on the tracking scene & game remixing scene, earning hundreds of thousands of downloads on various communities, as well as youtube views (unfortunately not on my own account :). I enjoy & tackle all genres of music, which is a huge bonus in my domain, although I primarily started making music as an ambient/trip-hop artist.

I also am a popular video game podcaster/commentator in a cool french community, and like to tackle other aspects of art/design, such as graphics and video editing.

I live near Paris, France and am extremely motivated in getting my work published and recognized, even though being an entrepreneur is a challenging feat in my country.
